This is a prime example of when over-exposure works beautifully! I just love this shot!

Mini-Sessions for Play Group - Take 8

The final take...I had a great time working with this family [even with the challenges]. And, they were so gracious when their original time got bumped and rescheduled due to lighting. But, I think the new time and location worked out beautifully!

So handsome!

Don't you wonder what she sees?? I love the look on her face in this one!

Mini-Sessions for Play Group - Take 7

This is the last one for tonight...but I love how these came out. I must be totally into eyes right now...but they gave me so many good options! Last time I saw this family, the baby was a's amazing how fast they grow up. And big brother! Wow! What a cutie pie!

I am not sure what I said...but it must have been slightly humorous!

Awwww...what else can you say!

Yummy eyes!

Mini-Sessions for Play Group - Take 6

Look at this adorable family! And the little one with the gorgeous blonde hair has so much personality! I got some adorable serious/pouty expressions...but even got beautiful smiles. But the eyes say it all!

Mini-Sessions for Play Group - Take 5

Working with family was a pleasure. To adorable kids and great parents...who could ask for more! Just wish I has more time to watch them play from a distance with a zoom!

Check out that expression...Love it!

Mini-Sessions for Play Group - Take 4

These two cuties were so delightful! And just yummy...don't you think!

He knew that there just had to be a photo taken in the trees!

Look at those eyes!

And just because I love this one...I had to include it. They were so playful together...and so sweet to each other. They thought it was quite funny to be sticking their tongues out at each other!

Mini-Sessions for Play Group - Take 3

I had so much fun working with Carrie and her family. I even got to take a few all important belly shots of the little one in waiting. But I learned some very valuable lessons...

Lesson 1: Never assist by picking up the sleepy 2 yr. old [you would think I would know that already!]. I upset Miss Cutie Pie...and it took some time to get her to play along after that!

Lesson 2: I can not compete with helicopters! [grin]

But I think we got some great shots anyway. Take a look...

Mini-Sessions for Play Group - Take 2

Check out this sister-brother duo! Aren't they cute...and another sibling pair that actually get along. They had so much fun and were just about game for everything...even a little romp in the grass [and let me tell you...that is brave...I came home with chiggers after this shoot ].
They'll send this one back to Texas for sure!

So playful! Such joy!

Mini-Sessions for Play Group - Take 1

I had the opportunity to photograph many families from my play group a few weeks ago. Loving how they turned out...and since it was technically my first time doing mini-sessions, I learned a lot! But most of all, I had a great time and hope everyone likes their photos.

I will be posting some of the images over the next few days! Here's one to get you started...

What an adorable family...[with one more on the way] the red hair and personality of these two little ones! And, I love the half-tone edit!

Look at that personality...and they really do adore each other [grin!].

Does This Look Comfortable??
