iHeartFaces (Children) - Week 6

I stumbled across this blog that is a fabulous photography resource. It's all about faces and portraits and each week they host a contest. This week's theme is "Wonder."

Here is the picture I submitted...not a technically great photo, but it fits the theme and I think it's adorable.

This was taken at the Museum of Science. While I am quite certain that the babies didn't get all that much out of the entire experience, they sure did love this little exhibit. They were so cute to watch as they touched the sphere over and over again...just amazed with the blue and purple lights that extended out to meet their hands. It was hard to even get a semi-decent shot because the lighting was virtually non-existent!

Hope on over to iHeartFaces and check out some of the other entries this week.

It is so neat to see how babies react to things! I know what it's like to try to capture pictures in a dark area. My house's poor lighting makes it seem like a cave. I ended up buying a 50mm f/1.4 lens which allows me to get enough light in my camera to take some decent pictures in poorly lit areas. It's now my favorite lens!

That lens is on my "to buy" list but it is back ordered just about everywhere.
